Grib Diamonds Auction Set Another Record

Grib diamonds, the sales branch of Russian AGD mining in Antwerp, recently announced a record performance of nearly $73 million at the latest auction. A total of 560000 carats of rough diamonds were sold this time, and the average price of a single carat reached about US $130.


Grib diamonds set an auction record of $65 million last August, when 650000 carats were sold, with an average price of about $100 per carat.

The company said that its rough diamond price has increased by more than 50% since September 2021, and some products have even harvested more than 200 rounds of bidding.

The total auction price was 4870 times, and the number of participating companies was 174.
