The opal is a naturally hardened silica gel containing 5-10% moisture. Unlike most gemstones, opals are amorphous. Some unstable amorphous structures in opals may be discolored or even cracked due to water loss. However, some highly stable opals have no change in normal environment. Opal is an opal in mineralogy. It contains two kinds of gemstones, which are colored and invariant. It is an aqueous amorphous silica.
