2020 Cartier Women Entrepreneur Award Launched Recruitment Activities

The 2020 "The Cartier Women's Initiative" is now officially open for recruitment. The application deadline is 20:00 (Beijing time) on August 14, 2019.

The Cartier Women Entrepreneur Award was co-founded in 2006 by Cartier and INSEAD to find, support and encourage women entrepreneur-led companies. The award recognizes three finalists each of the seven regions in Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and North Africa, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania, with a total of 21 female entrepreneurs.

The Cartier Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for women from all countries, nations and industries, aims to encourage women entrepreneurs around the world to meet the challenges of today's world: Support and recognize outstanding women who are working hard for the future of the world, and Introduce these women's entrepreneurial projects to the public to the fullest extent.

Since the beginning of this year, the "Cartier Women Entrepreneur Award" has added a number of entry criteria, including:

1.Entrepreneurship projects should be in the initial stage, with operating periods of one to five years

2.The financing of diluted capital must be less than 2 million US dollars

3.Must meet at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal

All 21 finalists will receive one-on-one business training, media promotion and promotion, a range of business coaching and social networking opportunities, and a six-day European Business School (INSEAD) “Social Entrepreneurship Management Program”. Each of the seven winners will receive a prize of $100,000, and the other 14 finalists will receive a prize of $30,000. In addition, Cartier and the European Business School will provide ongoing support for the company's future growth and development, helping award-winning female entrepreneurs prepare for the long-term growth and success of their business.
