How to see the GIA diamond certificate

Part 1

Date: The date the GIA certificate was issued.

GIA Report Number: This number is the number of the laser engraved on the waist of the diamond. It can be found on the GIA website.

Shape and Cutting Style : Describes the shape of the diamond cut.

Measurements: Diameter X Height.

Part 2

Carat Weight: Calculate the weight of the diamond, 1 carat is equivalent to 0.2 grams.

Color Grade: The color of the diamond is graded from D (transparent colorless) to Z (light yellow) through professional color stone.

Clarity Grade Clarity: Divided into 11 grades of FL-I3 based on diamond inclusions.

Cut Grade: Excellent, Very good, Good, Fair and Poor.

Part 3

Polish: Polishing conditions Regarding the diamond surface, good polishing can increase the brightness of the diamond. It can be divided into Excellent, Very good, Good, Fair, and Poor.

Symmetry: refers to the symmetry of the left and right cut of the diamond. It can be classified into Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor.

Fluorescence: The strong and weak reaction of diamond fluorescence (in five grades).

Clarity Characteristics: The shape of the internal features of the diamond observed under the microscope.

Inscription(s): The laser engraving engraved on the diamond waistline, like the GIA Report Number.

Proportion ratio: Describes the data for diamond cutting.

Clarity Characteristics: A look at the location and type of diamonds.
