Diamond clarity

Diamond clarity refers to the impurities contained in the diamond. The grade is judged according to the quantity, size and position of the impurities. The grade of the clarity is from high to low as FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1. I2, I3. If FL, IF are clean grade, and VVS1 and VVS2 belong to very fine internal level, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2 are all minor grades, and I1 and below are not recommended.

Diamond color

The more transparent the color of the diamond, the higher the quality and the more expensive the price. In fact, this is like a filter. The higher the level, the stronger the reflection of light. The color grades are arranged from high to bottom as D, E, F, G, H, I-J, K-L, M, N-O, P-R, and S-Z. If the color is in the range of D, E, F, G, and H, this is white, and generally the color is not visible to the naked eye, and the price is relatively high. If it is I-J or K-L, it means that the microstrip is yellow, but it is not felt when it is less than 0.2 carats. If the diamond is large, it can feel the presence of color. M, N-O, P-R, and S-Z are yellow, and are generally not recommended.

Diamond cut

The quality of diamond cutting directly affects the fire and flash of diamonds. According to national standards, the cutting is divided into three levels: good, good and general, and there is a Poor level in the world. Excellent cuts can make diamonds shine more brilliantly, so even diamonds of the same color, size and clarity, because of the different cuts, the price will affect several times the gap.

In addition to the above three aspects, there is the weight of the diamond, the bigger the diamond, the rarer, especially the "dome egg" above 5 carats, even if the level is not high, it is also of high value. The 1 carat diamond is also called 100 points, which is 0.2 grams. This is the conversion unit for diamonds. The 0.7 carat is also called 70 points. Everyone needs to know when buying.

In fact, the quality of diamonds is determined according to the diamond 4C. The higher the grade, the higher the value, and it has nothing to do with the place of origin.
